My husband and I just installed this chandelier and I am very happy with it. It was not difficult to install, however it did take us a little over an hour. The instructions estimated it would take just 15-30 minutes. It appears in every way to be a sturdy, well constructed light.The description refers to the light as "Dark Wood", but I would describe it as antique black and it looks more like metal than wood.
