I had read a scathing review that was posted on almost every web site that sold this product but decided to purchase it anyway since was was so inexpensive. I am very happy with the purchase. It was easy to assemble. The only warning (but not really a complaint) is that it is not sturdy when free standing (e.g not against two corner walls).
